SPARTANBURG, SC – The first day of platelets at training camp caused the first major injury to the Carolina Panthers.

Daryl Williams began to flatten his right wound and ruptured the inner collateral ligament of the right knee. Williams has not been ruled out for the year, the team announced Saturday.

Williams was knocked down by defensive end Zach Moore with tackle from tackle Vernon Butler while he was recovering his pbad protection.
