Deadly triangle: the psychologist, the patient and the third disagree

They had been dead for 12 hours. He was murdered in cold blood. They strangled her. But 13 years later, the double crime of the psychologist and his beautiful patient, the afternoon of Wednesday, July 12, 2006, remains unpunished and still stirring public opinion in Mendoza.

The bodies of Flavio Heriberto Piottante, 39, and Analía Estrella Libedinsky, 30, were found in the central office where he lived. The signs of violence were obvious. The only double crime suspect, Mauricio Suárez, who was a couple of Andrea Troncoso, a girlfriend and colleague of the psychologist, is still a fugitive. Meanwhile, in less than two years, the cause will prescribe it.

The only certainty that left the investigation in this case is that Flavio and Analía had had intimate relationships before being murdered.

Insistent calls from Piottante's mother, concert pianist Beatriz Llin, who lived in a nearby apartment, revealed that something was wrong. He managed to leave a message on the answering machine asking him "in turn".

On the morning of Thursday, July 13, after finding that Flavio had not gone to work in the office of the prison of Boulogne Sur Mer, he found dead on the floor of the duplex located in Barcala 484. His face was disfigured; The investigation determined that he had been killed by two shots.

The Complex Crime Unit summoned him to testify on Monday, July 17th. But he did not comply with the order: the day before, he left his Fiat Uno near the terminal in Guaymallén and disappeared.

At the beginning of the investigation, the Ministry of Security offered 10,000 pesos to those who provided information on the location of the subject. While successive prosecutors in the case had estimated that the murderer had not acted alone, Suarez had no connection with the crime; He considers that there is no convincing evidence binding him.
