On the San Francisco dock, a bar full of rats and mice will open for three days. The place, named "Rat Bar" (bar de rats), will be open to the public from June 13 to 15, from June 19 to 22. It's time to book a spot until the 11th of this month.

The entrance per person costs 50 dollars for 30 minutes inside the premises. Among the services offered are: the rodent company, a welcome drink with a surprise garrison called "tails of mice"and a 60-minute live show that explores "The strange, twisted and dark side of the city's history".

The proposal was motivated by "The San Francisco Dungeon" (The San Francisco Dungeon), a theatrical company located in the harbor area, presents shows about the terrifying past of the Californian city.

Previously, in May 2017, its creators had experienced a similar project: "The black rat coffee" (the black rat's coffee). Instead of offering a welcome badtail, they offered their customers a cake and hot tea.

Although it proved to be a success, since the tickets sold out in just 45 minutes, they wanted to make a difference this time: "To be honest, the cakes and coffees were good and everything else when we organized Rat Cafe, but it was a lot of work"He explained Matthew Clarkson, the San Francisco Dungeon Regional Marketing Manager.

Rodents who will be exposed to the event will be provided by "Ratical Rongent Rescue", a non-governmental organization specializing in the rescue of small animals. In addition, rats and mice will be available for adoption.
