The president of the United States, Donald Trump announced Friday that his next summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will be held in Hanoi on February 27-28.
"My representatives have just left a very productive meeting in North Korea and a new date for the second summit with Kim Jong-un has been agreed. It will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, on February 27th and 28th. I hope to see President Kim and advance in the cause of peace! ", tweeted Trump.

The US envoy for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, concluded Friday a three-day visit to Pyongyang and agreed to meet his North Korean counterpart before the summit.
Biegun met with North Korean envoy Kim Hyok Chol on Wednesday and Friday to try to advance negotiations on "complete denuclearization", the transformation of relations between the United States and North Korea and the implementation of a lasting peace on the Korean peninsula, "said the state department in a statement.
