Dramatic rescue of a naked woman trapped in a sewer | the Chronicle

A 43-year-old woman missing for three weeks was rescued after being trapped naked for several weeks in a sewer just yards from a busy avenue in Delray Beach in the United States.

A passerby was the one who heard her screams and immediately called 911, twhereupon firefighters from the city of Southeast Florida approached the scene with a ladder and harness in order to pull it out 2.5 meters deep.

The police rule in principle that Lyndsey Jane Kennedy, 43, entered the site of his own free will.

The person who ran the operation, Ted White, told local channel WPTV the woman told firefighters she had been there for a while. “significant time, maybe days, maybe weeks”, a fact that they must confirm when they call their relatives and friends to report it.

Meanwhile, an investigation was opened to find out how Kennedy ended up there, as She was out for a swim on March 3 with her boyfriend and after losing contact with him, she decided to enter a tunnel and couldn’t get out.
