The Seattle Seahawks and offensive tackle Duane Brown overcame a contract extension on Saturday, according to NFL ] Ian Rapoport

Rapoport added that the extension is a three-year contract worth $ 36.5 million.

Brown was to enter the last season of a $ 53.4 million Houston Texans contract in 2012, by Spotrac.

Brown, 32, spent 10 seasons with the Texans before trading for a Seahawks fifth round pick in October for two selections (2019 in the second round and 2018 third round).

Brown started nine games in Seattle last season, and was named Pro Bowler for the fourth time in his career.

While Brown has missed 12 combined games in the past three seasons, Brown has 142 career starts to his credit and was named First Team All-Pro in 2012.

The offensive line was probably the most big gap of the Seahawks before the arrival of Brown. But having missed the playoffs last season for the first time since 2011, Brown has been a key element in returning the playoffs.
