The trade balance posted a positive balance of $ 460 million in February, so that in the first two months of 2019, the difference between exports ($ 9050 million) and imports ($ 8218 million) is favorable. Argentina stood at $ 832 million.

As reported this afternoon the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC), exports grew 3.7% from one year to the next in February to reach $ 4464 million. However, due to the decline in January, sales in the first two months of the year fell 0.7% year-over-year.

On the other hand, imports fell by 22.9% in February, reaching a total of US $ 4004 million. In the first two months of the year, worldwide purchases decreased by 24.8% compared to the same period of 2018.
