Eduardo Duhalde to visit Lula Da Silva in prison

The former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva receives Thursday, July 18th the visit of the former president of Argentina, Eduardo Duhaldeand it becomes the fifth former head of state to travel to Lula and denounce his political prison.

On October 4, Lula also received another important support from the neighboring country, the presidential candidate, Alberto Fernández.

On Sunday, several Latin American leaders gathered in Mexico issued a manifesto against the increased use of legal processes for political purposes, called Lawfare, on the continent.

Duhalde goes to Lula at 4 pm, accompanied by the journalist and writer Emir Sader. After the meeting, the former Argentine president must attend the press after his departure from the Superintendency of the Federal Police in Curitiba, where Lula has been unfairly imprisoned since April 2018.
