Regarding the Indianapolis incident, a man who works at the FedEx factory told a local television station that he saw the gunman when he started shooting.

“I saw the individual with a machine gun or automatic rifle, and he started shooting in the open. I immediately dodged, I was afraid,” Jeremiah Miller said as quoted by the news agency. AFP.

According to the police spokesperson, the attacker committed suicide.

The shooter was not immediately identified and investigators are conducting interviews and gathering information.

It is the latest in a series of mass shootings this week at a school in southern Tennessee and at an office building in Los Angeles, California.

Timothy Boillat, another employee of the plant where around 4,000 people work, told the channel WISH TV that he witnessed the shooting and saw about 30 police vehicles arriving at the scene.
