Face-to-face lessons: the government of Buenos Aires released the first test results to teachers

The Government of the City of Buenos Aires published this Tuesday the results corresponding to the first week of tests carried out on teachers, before the resumption of face-to-face lessons.

Testing of staff linked to the City’s public and private schools began on February 8. At the date, 10,189 tests were performed to detect active cases of coronavirus and the presence of antibodies.

According to the administration of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, there was 61 positive cases of Covid-19 among more than 10,000 tests. During, the total number of positives with antibodies is 1643.

The tests were carried out in the three centers, namely the property La Rural in the district of Palermo (municipality 14); at the art factory of La Boca (municipality 4) and at the headquarters of the community 7, in Flores.

Changes in Buenos Aires public transport for students and teachers

The government of Buenos Aires recalled that changes for the tests are obtained through its official website and the same are reported between 12:00 and 24:00 by e-mail, telephone communication or chat.

Finally, the return to the classrooms is scheduled for Wednesday, February 17. This return will be phased and each educational institution can be organized according to its needs.
