Chancellor Jorge Faurie on Wednesday rejected accusations by opposition senators regarding the delivery of natural resources in the maritime areas bordering the Falklands. He did so when ratifying the claim of Argentine sovereignty over the islands, before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate where he presented a management report on foreign policy.

"We want to exploit the resources for the benefit of the Argentineans, give work and wealth, we have not violated any law, we want them to explore to determine what resources we have there"said Faurie.

"Neither President Macri, nor any of the officials who worked at that time, delivered the Malvinas to anyone. The Malvinas are Argentines," says @JorgeFaurie
