Femicide: macabre crime of a young Argentinian in Barcelona | His ex-girlfriend committed suicide

An Argentina woman was murdered by her ex-partner in Sant Vincenc, on the outskirts of Barcelona. According to investigators, the feminicide, also Argentinian, committed suicide after the fact, leaving the daughter, they had an orphan.

The body of Antonella A., 30, was found burned in bushes on the outskirts of Terrassa, the town where she lived. The victim was found by the police, who subsequently located the car of the aggressor, Adrian Z., that they found hanged with seat belt.

In the back seat was the girl he had with Antonella. The girl had minor burns, for which she was transferred to a nearby hospital.

The hypothesis manipulated by the police is that after having burned his ex-girlfriend, the man decided to commit suicide with his daughter as a witness.

According to investigators, Antonella was in the process of divorcing Adrián, whose he had denounced acts of violence.

For femicide, the municipal council of Terrassa decreed three days of mourning.

In 2021, Spain recorded 29 deaths of women at the hands of their partner or ex-partner, including 7 in Catalonia. Since 2003, the year from which a registration is kept, the total already stands at 1,106.
