From April 1, 2021, Florencia Sabatini will be the new communications manager for Google Latin America. In his new role, he will lead the Spanish-speaking region of Latin America, which includes 18 countries, including Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and other Central American countries and of the Caribbean.
“Latin America is an exciting and diverse region, where Google still has a lot to contribute. The board of directors has extensive experience in communications. She graduated in public relations, graduated from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). He also studied Business Communication at the Helsinki School of Business (HELBUS), Mikeli, Finland.
She was communications manager at Google for Argentina and the Southern Cone until April 2021 and worked for the company for 10 years, where she was also communications manager for Google Enterprise for Latin America ( Cloud & Gsuite) between 2010 and 2013.
She was regional public relations manager of the Sonico social network (Grupo FNBox) and worked for public relations consultants such as Muchnik, Aja Espil & Asoc, Baraldo & Asoc. And Edelman, both for their offices in Argentina and Mexico, where he lived for a year. In 2005 he was in charge of communications for a special project for the telecommunications company TSTT in Trinidad and Tobago where he also lived for a few months.
Between 2007 and 2008, he had his own communication agency “Global Linx” in Argentina. She was a career professor in public relations at UADE for many years and at the National University of La Matanza (UNLAM). He currently teaches the courses of the Master in Marketing and Communication at the ORT of Uruguay.
In 2017, he received the Konex Platinum Award in the Institutional Communication category. It has also been recognized with other distinctions: CCO Medios (El Cronista Marketing and Communication Awards) in 2019, “Women to Watch” by AdLatina and AdAge in 2018 and in 2014, she was distinguished by the Professional Public Relations Council with the prize of “Professional Excellence in Public Relations” .
At the local level, a new communications officer for Argentina will be appointed in due course, whose appointment will be announced in the coming months.
