Today Florida remains the third largest state in the United States. with the most covid-19 cases (2.24 million) and the fourth with the most deaths (35,600) since the start of the pandemic, according to Johns Hopkins University in the United States.

In recent weeks, new cases were 6000 per day, with a few more than 7,000 days, while daily deaths remain on average less than a hundred.
