Foreigners with negative PCR and two vaccines can enter Uruguay without quarantine

MONTEVIDEO.- The government of Uruguay resolved this Wednesday that Foreigners who enter the country with a negative PCR test will be exempt from quarantine and the two doses of one of the coronavirus vaccines, in addition to the 15 days following the end of the vaccination. So far, a series of conditions for entering the country during the health emergency apply. A negative PCR test for the coronavirus is required, performed up to 72 hours before the start of the trip, and an affidavit is requested through the Coronavirus Uy app or the online procedures website where the absence of symptoms and the contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID – 19 cases and the preventive quarantine of seven days, which is now increasing.
