Former Bolivian President Jeanine ñez said she no longer wanted to live after her suicide attempt in prison

Former interim president of Bolivia Jeanine Áñez said on Tuesday that she “doesn’t want to live anymore”, two days after injuring her arms and the day the prison administration took her out of the prison where she was being held to make her new medical evidence.

“I don’t want to live anymore. My children need to make a living. I don’t want any more drugs that I don’t know. I ask my jailers to please tell me what I’m taking.”, says a message from Áñez posted on his social networks.

On Saturday, the government ministry reported that Áñez attempted to generate “self-harm” which he called “scratches” and maintained that the former interim president was stable.

Medical tests
