Former NFL player murdered five people and ended up committing suicide

This Wednesday, the city of York, in the United States, hosted a mass shooting What ended the lives of five people innocent and later with that of the attacker. According to the York Sheriff’s Department, the killer was Phillip adams, former professional footballer who spent five seasons competing at the highest level of the NFL.

Adams took the life of Dr Robert Lesslie (70), a prominent local physician in South Carolina. With his wife Barbara (69), and her two grandchildren: Adah and Noah Lesslie, of nine and five respectively. James lewis (38), who worked for Lesslie’s family, was the fifth victim. There was also a sixth involved who was hospitalized with serious gunshot wounds.

Adams was found dead at his home in the wee hours of Thursday, with a single blow to the head. As confirmed by the York County Sheriff’s Office, the weapon found next to him matches the one used in the murder of the five victims.

A close source, who chose to remain anonymous, assured that the former athlete he had been a patient of Dr Lesslie. Which links him even more to the scene of the crime. Although this information has not been confirmed by the police department.

Phillip Adams (33), was an NFL player for five seasons, but never became a real star. In his years at the highest level, He went through six teams and played 78 games.

He was recruited as a promising youngster by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2010 project from the University of South Carolina. A serious ankle injury took him away from the courts and he left the 49ers without appearing in many games. He reached the New England Patriots, then crossed Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders Yes New York Jets, or retired in 2015.

Alonzo Adams, the father of the former footballer, spoke up after what happened and blamed the sport for his son’s problems. “I can tell he’s a good boy – He was a good boy.
