Fortnite: Reduces the power of the new SMG because of complaints

A few days have pbaded since Fortnite introduced the new SMG as a community and they have already disturbed it. It's that Epic Games does not need more than two days to monitor the opinions of people on social networks and even the very popular feeds to make that decision.

The power, purpose, damage bonus, range and other features suffered a major reduction to avoid what was happening. What was happening? More and more players have reached the end of the games with, at least, an SMG. There have even been cases of players with four SMGs in their backpacks. Even Ninja, in her water course, repeatedly referred to this new weapon saying that she was too powerful.

On a specific Fortnite Reddit page (https://www.reddit.com/r/FortNiteBR/comments/91wpj5/smg_balance_changes/), the changes to this weapon were detailed:

– SMG aiming bonus and SMG Compact reduced from 35% to 15%.

– SMG damages reduced from 19/20/21 to 17/18/19.

– Compact SMG damage reduced from 23/24 to 21/22.

– SMG intake rate reduced from 13 to 12.

– SMG Compact setting rate reduced from 11 to 10.

– Reduced damage of SMG, SMG Compact and SMG Silenced.

– Reduced range from 2400/3500/5000 to 2000/3000/4000.

– Percentage reduced from 100/80/65% to 100/70/40%.

– Reduction of SMG and SMG Compact ratios.

Epic Games announced that it will continue to monitor all changes to the game to avoid discontent, which the community greatly appreciates and which brings the rest of the developers to try to imitate them.
