Four years in prison for personal trainer who contacted 11-year-old boy on Instagram to have sex

It happened in January 2020, when the pandemic had not yet reached the country. The mother and stepfather of a boy from 11 years old discovered that a man, whom the boy knew from the gym, had written to him on Instagram to have a sexual encounter. They decided to install it. So they caught him and now the justice of Buenos Aires has sentenced him to 4 years in prison.

Trap

Before the meeting, the couple notified the police. They filed a complaint at the Comuna 4 police station.

The case fell into the hands of prosecutor Ramírez: she ordered agents of the Judicial Investigation Body of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the municipal police to come to the family’s home to wait for the personal trainer.

On January 26, 2020, when the assailant showed up at the door of the boy’s house, the prosecutor ordered the detention del personal trainer.

He later obtained a search warrant on the defendant’s property, from which digital storage devices were seized.

The Corps of Forensic Investigations provided evidence on the crimes of grooming. Additionally, due to the inmate’s Instagram history, it was possible to configure that the personal trainer would have contacted several minors to try to abuse it.
