Free agency of the NBA 2018: Yogi Ferrell becomes the last free agent to ignore Dallas Mavericks

A few summers back, we were lucky to witness one of the craziest sagas in the history of the NBA. As most people probably remember, the Clippers basically kidnapped DeAndre Jordan after he agreed to an agreement with the Dallas Mavericks in a free agency. There were hilarious pictures, all kinds of emojis and even rumors that Mark Cuban was frantically trying to get in touch with Jordan.

MORE FREE AGENCY

In the end, the fat man gave up his agreement with the Mavs to return to the Clippers. It's all over again this summer when Jordan, once again a free agent, has finally signed a deal with Dallas. But while the Mavs finally got their man in Jordan, they lost another free agent in the same way.

Well, it was not as absurd as the situation in Jordan, but Yogi Ferrell is now once again a free agent. After accepting a two-year deal with the Mavericks earlier this week, Ferrell has now given up the commitment. "We felt uncomfortable and we will weigh on our options," said his agent, while Ferrell will reinstate the free agency.

The overthrow comes less than 24 hours after Ferrell told reporters that he felt the city had kissed him and that he had been killed. he "would not want to be somewhere else."

Without being aware of the conversations involving Ferrell, his agent and the Mavericks, it is impossible to know exactly what caused Ferrell to change his mind.

Now, obviously, he's not the same player of caliber as Jordan, but it's still a bad look for the Mavericks that they've now had two agents different free out of business in recent years.
