From BCRA to fintech: Federico Sturzenegger has chosen a startup for the fund he manages

Federico has heard little about him

after his release from

in June of last year. Two weeks after the first anniversary of his resignation from the monetary entity, he entered the world
FinTech (

businesses

this mix of finance and technology) with an investment in a startup that grants credits.

The startup,
Findo has developed a digital platform and application that allows unbanked people without a traditional credit history to apply for credit. For this, he created a system of "mobile scoring", which uses alternative data to validate the identity and financial behavior of people.

Sturzenegger made this investment through the fund it represents, Latus View. It's an international capital investment group looking for world-leading, sector-focused projects
AgTech (agriculture + technology),
edtech (education + technology) and
FinTech (finance + technology).

The former president of the Central Bank represents the fund in Argentina alongside Gonzalo Lissarrague, a major player in the corporate world: he is the former chairman of Global Growth & Operations Thompson Reuters.
