Germany, France, Italy and UK condemn attack on US-led coalition air base in Iraq

Foreign ministers of On Wednesday, the US, UK, Germany, France and Italy condemned the attack on an air base that houses the US military in Iraqi Kurdistan. and they warned that this type of action against the coalition “will not be tolerated”.

The White House said on Tuesday that “Reserves the right to respond” to the attack with missiles once you’ve determined who the perpetrators were.

The attack, which left one dead and several wounded Iraqis and foreigners, it is the first in nearly two months against Western military or diplomatic installations in Iraq.

The last similar took place in mid-December, when rockets exploded near the US embassy in Baghdad.

The attack appeared to target a military complex at Erbil airport, where are positioned the foreign troops who are part of the international coalition led by the United States and which supports Iraq in its fight against the jihadists.
