Coronavirus case in Germany increased by just over 13% in one day after warning of a “fourth wave” of infections in October if progress is not made in vaccination among those who still refuse to be vaccinated.

“If we fail to drastically increase vaccination, the current fourth wave could acquire sudden development,” Lothar Wieler, RKI chairman, said in the last few hours.

The actual total number is probably much higher, because many cases go undetected.
