Godoy Cruz: The parents take their children out of the catechism because the priest has been denounced for pedophilia

A publication of Infobae newspaper led parents to withdraw their children from catechesis when they learned that the pastor had been reported for pedophilia. The note was dated May 2017, but parents have only heard about it recently.

About sixty religious accused are mentioned on the list, including a well-known church priest from Godoy Cruz. From the Church they affirmed that the priest, whose initials were AS, gave the corresponding explanations at the time, and badured that the denunciation "was unfounded".

This did not convince the parents of the minors, who in any case made their children leave the catechetical group.

Their colleagues decided to support the priest, and they badured that "they trust their version." In this way, the catechists will continue in the institution, where they will meet every Saturday from 15.

The denunciation against the priest of Godoy Cruz was filed in 2014, where he has was accused of badually abusing a boy who was then four years old. The harbadment allegedly took place in the parish of Santa Bernadette, in the district of Unimev. The psychological skills of the child endorsed the version, claiming that the child had suffered a traumatic event.

The complaint was filed with the Bureau of Special Crimes, but the parents did not continue the process and the case was closed
