Google Maps launches a feature to detect taxi drivers in real time

[ad_1]

Google Maps has become a very useful platform for everyday life. Especially for those who have to make long journeys on little known routes.

In recent months, the platform has refined and strengthened its functions, borrowing certain qualities of its skills, such as Waze. Or create new options that make their use more efficient.

This is the case of the new feature released by the XDA Developer Forums, where you can see how Google Maps now determines the best route to meet a particular path.

Assuming that a taxi is being caught, the app can launch alert notifications when the shortest route is not respected and that deviations are launched to extend the route.

It will be necessary to leave the road at least 500 meters, around five streets, to activate the alarm notification. This will help ensure the safety of pbadengers and their economy.

Although the feature seems to be created for purely monetary reasons, this new feature of Google Maps is complemented by other security features, such as sharing your route in real time with certain contacts. From now on, they could also receive notifications in the event of a detour.

The show has just been released in India. So maybe I'll be going to Latin America soon.
