A few hours ago, in an interview with the Spanish newspaper The countryGuaidó had blamed the president for the violence perpetrated in Venezuela in recent years, although he ruled out the possibility of a civil war.

"There is no risk of civil war because 90% of the population wants change," Guaidó said. "There is a small military leadership or support for the regime that is a non-paramilitary security for armed paramilitaries (…) to have any kind of resonance".

The anti-Chavez leader admitted that there was a risk of violence, but quickly pointed out that "the only ones who talk about violence and exercise it, in addition through FAES and paramilitaries, are Maduro and his regime ".

"Those who feed a thesis like this fuel precisely the violence," he insisted.

In addition, he was convinced that "at some point, the dissatisfaction of the armed forces will be expressed and that the opportunity must be opposed to the Constitution".
