Google Home recently arrived in Spain and Mexico as part of the company's strategy to attract new audiences to the device. This has generated that the speaker is present in more homes and its users are discovering new possibilities of use.
Recall that the device uses the Google Assistant to receive queries using voice commands. This allows us to have a record of all conversations that we had with the speaker, either to listen to them again, or to permanently eliminate them ] for privacy questions
Why is Google recording these conversations? The company requires them to learn our tone of voice and therefore improve the recognition of it. Those of Mountain View ensure that records can only be listened to by their owner so that no one else can access them.
Despite the previous promise, some people may feel uncomfortable knowing that their conversations with Google Assistant are registered by the company. Fortunately, the same Google offers us a way to manage these records . It should be noted that this procedure is valid for any conversation generated with the Google Assistant, regardless of the device used.
First Steps
To initiate the procedure, you must log in from a desktop or mobile web browser (instructions below) with our Google Account, the same as must be linked to devices on which we use Google Assistant .

Once inside we can locate the central box of "Personal Data and Privacy" . In the lower part of this section we will find a section entitled "My Activity" which allows us to link them to another page by clicking on "Go to My Activity" .
From the mobile browser

activity
The next thing we will see on the screen will be a panel with all the activities we had during the day with Google services. When you scroll down the page, you will see the section of "google.com" that you can expand to find all the queries we have made, including the conversations we have had with Assistant and, therefore, with Google Home.
From this panel, it is possible to return to to hear or suppress conversations . For the first, just click on "Play" .
Deleting Conversations
If you want to get rid of conversations, you have to press the "Details" button that will take you to a section where you can see more information about the conversation you had with the badistant. From there, it will be possible to locate the More button (the three vertical dots), located at the top right of the box. Pressing will display a menu with the option "Delete" .
In this way, we will have eliminated the conversation. If you want to streamline the process and eliminate any activity in Google services, you can do it from the menu of options located on the left side of the panel. Click "Delete Activity by" . Inside it will be possible to search for items, to establish a range of dates and to choose the products from which you want to eliminate the activity.
Another way to speed up the process is to locate the section Today where on the right side we will find the button Plus which will display the option to delete all the activity of the day.
