Hamas terrorists have launched about 50 rockets from Gaza against Israel

Some 50 rockets were launched Saturday morning from the Gaza Strip against Israel and the Israeli air force bombed two rocket launchers in the Palestinian enclave, the army said.

A source of security in Gaza later announced that a series of Israeli bombings had hit three separate areas of the Gaza Strip and that three "resistance fighters" had been injured.

It is not known for the moment that there were victims on the Israeli side.

The escalation comes after violent protests Friday at the Gaza border.

Four Palestinians, including two Hamas members, were killed on Friday by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip after two Israeli soldiers were wounded in clashes in the border area.
