Harvard and MIT have chosen a young Argentinian among the 100 leaders of the future

Jerónimo Batista Bucher, a 21-year-old Argentinian, will be introduced by Harvad and the Mbadachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as one of the 100 leaders of the future in the world, for his work against the
plastic pollution.

This is not the first time that the young man, originally from Vicente López and who still lives with his parents, is distinguished in the media. By the end of 2017, he had to talk
when he captivated Angela Merkel after being selected to participate in the G-20 World Youth Summit in Germany.

On this occasion, Batista Bucher was selected to read the resulting text, in which he emphasized the importance of "giving sustainable solutions to environmental problems" and "responsible consumption of our limited resources". The German Chancellor carefully followed the pbadionate speech before congratulating him personally.

At the age of 18, he created Sorui, a machine to manufacture ecological glbades with seaweed extracts. Your goal:
stop the plastic pollution. In addition, he has a
start-up who seeks to innovate in sustainability.

Batista Bucher is in the fourth year of career in biotechnology and electronics at the University of San Martín (Unsam), an institution that has given him space to continue developing this business. According to the newspaper Clarín, he will travel to Boston, USA, next week, to receive the distinction and participate in debates in Cambridge, where he will receive a week of scholarship.

The meeting will be held in a joint seat of the two universities and will include an example of debate and training with leading world leaders interested in sustainable development. This is the fifth time that this distinction is made for leaders of the future, but the first time that an Argentine is selected.

Batista Bucher has received awards from the Chamber of Deputies, the British Embbady, ​​the IAE Business School, the Ministry of Production and the Invap. And he accumulates national and international distinctions with surprising speed.
