A 19-year-old girl died of her injuries after being burned after denouncing the school's director for rape. The event was held in Bangladesh.

Nusrat Jahan Rafi told the police that on March 27, the school director summoned him to his office, where he had inculcated him several times. To that, he ran to report it. At the police station, an officer recorded his testimony and was disclosed to the media.

Police arrested the person in charge, but a group of people protested for his freedom. People began to blame the girl and it was then that she realized that her safety was in danger.

Upon her return to school, five people took her to the roof of the building and pressured her to withdraw her presentation. She refused to do it and set it on fire. Police said that they wanted it to look like a suicide.

The young woman, burned alive, was saved and managed to make a statement before extinguishing it: "The professor has touched me, I will fight this crime until my last breath". In addition, he identified several of his attackers.

His death shocked the country and the authorities arrested 15 people, seven of whom were reportedly involved in the crime.

The police officer who registered Nusrat's complaint was removed from his post and transferred to another agency.
