In the midst of incidents between protesters and soldiers, the first truck carrying humanitarian aid managed to cross the border with Brazil this Saturday at noon to Venezuela despite the closure of the border ordered by President Nicolás Maduro.
The incident occurs amidst a struggle between the opposition leadership and the Chavez government recognition of the armed forces. This week, the army was ordered by Maduro to close the Brazilian border and all border bridges with Colombia so as not to allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
Guaidó, from Colombia, urged men in uniform not to recognize the Chavez government and he offered them an amnesty anyone on the border fled to the neighboring country.
As Commander-in-Chief of the National Armed Forces, given the exceptional circumstances of the Republic, I reject the characterization of a homeland traitor for military personnel crossing the border.# 23FAvalanchaHumanitaria

For Guaidó, entering humanitarian aid is "a great achievement". "We officially announced that the first shipment of humanitarian aid has entered our border with Brazil. It's a great success, Venezuela!", he celebrated on Twitter.

Previously, the president of the parliamentary commission for humanitarian aid to Venezuela, Miguel Pizarro, had reported on these revenues.
"Our ambbadador (in Brazil) Teresa Belandria and all our (indigenous) Pemón people have just announced that they have already entered Venezuelan territory the first loading truck medicines for humanitarian aid, "said Pizarro offering a review of what is happening in the country as part of the entry of such aids that Maduro rejects.
The parliamentarian indicated that the revenues had been obtained through the "struggle" and "mobilization"but did not explain in detail how it happened.
The deputy Américo De Grazia, however, said that after the "triumphant" pbadage of the first truck on Venezuelan territory, the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB, militarized police) "repress with tear gas" to the inhabitants of the state of Bolívar, bordering Brazil.
In addition, according to the opposition, a ship carrying tons of humanitarian aid from the Dutch islands of the Caribbean Sea will arrive on the Venezuelan coast in the coming hours.
