An animal shelter in Midland County, United States, picked up a little pit bull less than a year old, they found themselves trembling and disoriented in the street. To his surprise, the animal was implanted with a microchip, thanks to which he discovered that his owner was living in the state of Florida. After learning what happened, one of the volunteers of the organization decided to put her in her car and bring her home where, incredibly, they rejected her.

It all started when the volunteer at the "Humane Society" shelter, whose identity was not revealed, learned that a dog named Blue had been lost 2,250 kilometers from your home. Without hesitation, the woman offered to use her work vacations in order to make them and, without further ado, she left with the pit bull for Lehigh Acres, Florida. But the animal lover had a terrible surprise when, arriving at the square, his owner told him that he did not want her anymoreand that there was no way to continue to take care of her. "It broke my heart, Blue was extremely excited to be home," he said. With nothing else to do, he returned to Midland determined to do something.

Back at the shelter, the volunteer set out to make Blue a new home where she was truly loved. started publishing the story on different forums, blogs and social networks. Fortunately, in just a few days their messages reached a huge spread and dozens of people started contacting her with the desire to adopt the dog. "It was impressive, every time I answered the phone, someone called to ask for information on Blue," he said.

Finally, the shelter announced this week via its Facebook account that "the little pitbull already has a new dad".

Logan Smith, the organization's animal care technician, said, "We try to be fair and give them to the first person who completed the adoption form." Duty accomplished, he reflects: "It was a sad story with a happy ending"
