In recent days, a French court has sparked controversy by ordering a company to compensate the family of one of its employees, victim of a heart attack during a badual relationship accidental during a business trip, incident that justice considered as "work accident".

Over the past few days, the court has finally established that the death of the man should be described as "work accident". This decision benefits Xavier's partners and children, who will receive up to 80% of their salary every month until the date on which they should have retired.

They badured that the man was traveling for work, so it was the responsibility of the company that sent him to the meeting, "regardless of what the employee does during and outside of office hours."

This case is not the first to provoke controversy in France in favor of a worker, since in 2017, he declared an employer liable for damages suffered by his employee when he was in a disco in China.
