The young woman posted the photos on Instagram and the message became viral.
An Irishwoman, Kirsten Kinch, left her Siberian dog in a dog nursery while she was spending a mini-vacation in Iceland. When she went to fetch her, a terrible surprise awaited her: her faithful companion had died and they brought her back in a trash bag wrapped in duct tape.
The case occurred at the end of last year but was revealed yesterday by the young woman in a message posted on his Instagram account.
As he explained, Kinch was very worried about leaving his dog for the first time in the hands of strangers. The animal had a problem with colitis and was treated with steroids.
Before leaving, on December 27, 2018, the owner of the dog left a trace of the problem of health of his animal and explained how he had to be treated so that he could continue to recover.
When he went to pick her up on December 31, he learned that Nova had suffered severe bleeding and died. "We were shocked and devastated, I asked them if they had given him the medicine and they said yes," says Kinch in his message.
But what really shocked him was the treatment he received and the way it was administered to his dog: "They crushed Nova in what I can only describe as a bullet in a bag black and covered with tape. There was no attention or empathy for the way they did it.It was traumatic and heartbreaking to see her so, a 25 kg husky made a ball "she said.
Kinch consulted his veterinarian and confirmed with the chip that it was Nova's good. The young woman also asked the restaurant for more information about what had happened, but she never had an answer.
