A woman was arrested and charged with "attempting a homicide" against her boyfriend, who was shot at her home in Cocoa, on the west coast of Florida, United States. The attack took place because his partner snored very loudly, which resulted in a bloody debate, local media reported Wednesday.

The woman identified as Loli Morin47, told Brevard County police that it was an accident, but the investigation determined that the shooting had occurred after a domestic incident.

Apparently, the couple had a serious argument because Morin was annoyed by the snoring sound of his boyfriend while they slept.

In this way, the woman pulled out a pistol and shot her boyfriend, who had to be taken to hospital for a gunshot wound and who is in a stable condition.

According to the authorities, the couple had been drinking before and during the incident. Morin is in Brevard County Jail without bail.
