The minor, called Tristyn bailey, was declared missing on May 9 in Saint Johns County, Fla., and her body was found the afternoon of the same day in a forest with signs of being stabbed.

Security cameras recorded her that day as she walked into the forest with the prime suspect in her murder, Aiden Fucci, who was later seen walking home alone.

A selfie taken by the suspect when arrested for second degree murder has gone viral on social media, in which he is seen v-for victory and sarcastically wonders “Hey guys, hasn’t anyone seen Tristyn lately?”.

During the investigation, the teenager kept various versions of events and eventually admitted to killing Bailey, while police found traces of blood on the suspect’s clothes.
