A Spanish citizen led an unprecedented flight in the city of Tortosa, in northern Spain. The police arrested him to steal at least 15 marijuana plants in the same building where he lives. A few minutes before the robbery, the defendant mistakenly entered another ward and threatened a family. Due to this aggression, the authorities learned that something was happening on this property and they discovered him with all the drugs in his house.
According to local media reports, the thief was baffled at the door and entered the home of some tenants for the first time, who were frightened by the violent reaction he had against them.
After a few minutes, the man left and managed to get into the uninhabited department where a large plantation was installed marijuana. From there, he took 15 plants and escaped home, a few meters away.
The Esquadra Mossos received the call of the threatened family and approached the building, located on Montcada Street in Tortosa. When they went up the stairs, they realized that from one door came a strong smell.
To his surprise, inside this floor, there was at least 60 marijuana plants with artificial lighting systems and humidifiers. A few steps from the entrance, they noticed that there was scattered earth on several steps and confirmed that someone had brought several pans on the top floor.
It was thus that they went to the arrested, 41-year-old man's department, who had stolen 15 plants and hid them in his furniture. The police arrested him as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of theft, entry to the home of others and against public health. Although he was released after two days, he still holds the charges.
