He took a magnet to catch treasure and found an arsenal

Inspired by a documentary about European fishermen looking for World War II treasure in the French cbads, a man from Lynnfield, north of Boston, USA, went to a lagoon with A powerful magnet to find something precious. Among his expectations, there was the opportunity to find jewelry of all kinds, valuables that people have lost in the water over the years. But he found a strange surprise.

On Saturday morning, a resident whose identity was preserved took a powerful magnet attached to a rope and threw it into the Pillings Pond lagoon to see what was happening. In minutes, the magnet is hooked on something. The man pulled on the rope, eager to see what he had caught. When he pulled it, he looked at the end of the rope, and there was a Uzi submachine gun attached to the magnet, reported the Boston Globe.

The surprise was capitalized for this man who immediately called the police to report what had been found. Officer Patrick Curran arrived at the scene and checked the weapon, discovered that it was real and that she was also loaded. At the request of the agent, the man threw the magnet into the water to see what he had found elsewhere. And the surprise was even greater. A 40-gauge Glock pistol, a Colt Cobra revolver, an unidentified rusty revolver and a semi-automatic pistol also appeared at the bottom of the pond. Everything seemed to be loaded.

"For 35 years I have been in the body, I've never seen anything like it," Lynnfield police captain Karl Johnson told The Daily Item, the first to announce the news. "It's a bit strange," he added. Lieutenant Thomas Ryan, a spokesman for the Mbadachusetts State Police, told the media that a diving team and members of the Crime Scene Identification Units and Weapons firearms were also present at the scene.
