A young French tourist discovered a hidden camera installed in a bottle of deodorant after taking a shower on Sunday at an Australian shelter, the New South Wales Police Department said.

The woman chose to stay at an inn located on the iconic beach Bondi Beach, especially a room with shared bathroom. The 27-year-old woman had just taken a shower when she noticed the presence of a toiletry kit in the sink, in which was a deodorant stick in which appeared a small hidden camera. The young woman took pictures of the camera and contacted the authorities.

The Australian police arrived at the scene and arrested a 36-year-old man from Hong Kong, also on vacation, with whom he shared the bathroom.

The police then explained that after reviewing the aforementioned matters, they had found a camera, several hard drives and devices to store data with other women's videos in "private acts".

The individual is accused of having installed an observation or filming device, as well as possession of surveillance devices for illicit purposes.
