A pastor in Zambia has died after an unsuccessful attempt to recreate the resurrection of Jesus, un miracle with which he wanted to come back to life after being buried and staying underground for three days.
Corn James Sakara, a young pastor of the Church of Zion was not Jesus Christ, nor his powers of biblical significance, thus, after the time of returning from the dead, he was dug up but never woke up.
The events took place in the town of Chadiza, in the eastern province of Zambia. There, Sakara is pastor of the church of Zion in the city, and He had convinced his congregation that he was able to be resurrected in three days as Jesus did in the Bible accounts.
Several members of his congregation tried to stop them from pursuing their idea but the pastor managed to remain faithful help him to bury himself alive, by digging the hole where he would put his coffin and then going to dig it up, with the aforementioned result.
Before attempting the resurrection, Sakara quoted the Bible and He explained that Christ’s instruction to his disciples to “do this in remembrance of me” on the night he was betrayed actually referred to his resurrection, and not just the use of the bread and wine in the church. Holy Communion.
His three assistants they tied his hands and buried him alive, where he stayed for three days.
When they came to find their pastor, the congregation observed that he did not respond but They tried to perform spiritual rituals to make the miracle work, but such a thing did not happen and Sakara never reacted.
His disciples then realized that the resurrection attempt had been a complete failure and that their leader had left this world never to return.
Of the three church members who volunteered to help the pastor in his spare time, one went to the police.
The two other Sakara collaborators are still wanted and it is believed that they are running away.
According to the local press, the pastor became the widower of a young woman pregnant with their first child.
