He wanted to kill himself and failed: he killed 21 neighbors in the attempt

A German confessed to causing an explosion in an apartment that killed 21 people in the building. The 54-year-old man was tried and admitted that he wanted to end his life and, to this end, he opened all the keys to the house.

"I apologize to all the neighbors.I know I am responsible.This was not my intention," said the man, who was also seriously injured.

A deadly oblivion

According to the German newspaper Spiegel, the man reportedly said he was asleep after opening the gas keys. Then he woke up to go to the bathroom and wanted to smoke a cigarette. Having forgotten that there was gas in the environment, he handled a lighter and finally caused the explosion.

The force of the detonation killed 21 people. In addition, a neighbor was fired on the street and suffered serious injuries that today depend on medical badistance for life.
