He was drunk, riding a motorbike, the wrong way round, and attacked the police who arrested him

A 20-year-old man was arrested today by police from the Segunda Police Station in the first block of Peru Street.

Police say Nahuel Barrera was riding a 110cc Honda Wave motorcycle in the opposite direction on the street, smelling strongly of alcohol and accompanied by another person who was not identified and who was apparently also drunk.

When officers wanted to identify the documentation of the young man and the motorcycle, they indicated that Barrera got angry and wanted to avoid the procedure.

Moments later, the young man’s mother, Verónica Godoy (42), and his concubine, Jorge Ferracutti (48), appeared at the scene and started cursing the police.

When the traffic personnel arrived to hijack the motorcycle, the young man started kicking and hitting the vehicle, in addition to throwing it to the ground several times, causing damage, and then he tried to attack the troops and they reduced it.

Godoy attempted to leave the scene on another motorbike they had arrived on, without obeying the police order, and hit a cashier in the leg which prevented her from escaping, for which she also been apprehended.

Finally, the woman’s partner attempted to attack police personnel to avoid the procedure and was also reduced and arrested, while Barrera’s companion fled,

The motorcycle was removed and transferred to the municipal Corralón.
