Rubén’s story has traveled around the world, because it is the first known case in Spain, and one of the few to date on the European continent, of a trans man carrying his baby in his womb.

Before starting her hormonal treatment, she froze her eggs.

Rubén shared her pregnancy process with photos and videos posted on Instagram, where she even commented that her baby would be called Luar.
