A man from the state of Kentucky, United States, was charged with the murder of his son, who was barely a year old, after being angry at a video game.

According to the Louisville Metropolitan Police, the father allegedly hit the baby to express his anger at his performance with the video game last Friday. Moments later, he fell to the ground carrying him from the living room of his house to the kitchen. After two days, the child died in the hospital.

Anthony Trice, 26, was amused with a video game console in the presence of her baby. Apparently annoyed at having lost a match, he hit him in the head. Then, he wanted to comfort him by feeding him with a bottle and, on the way to the kitchen, the little boy fell to the ground. After realizing that the baby had suffered severe brain damage, he called emergency number 911.

The boy was hospitalized in serious condition and eventually died on Sunday. At that time, the authorities lodged a complaint against Trice for criminal mistreatment of homicide. The court set a bail of one million dollars Monday for the young man.
