Hijackers shoot at night bar in Mexico: at least 14 dead – 09/03/2019

At least 14 dead and seven wounded left this Saturday the attack of a bar from Salamanca, in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato where it is going an operation against fuel theft, informed the judicial authorities.

A group of armed and hooded men (its origin and number of members is unknown) burst in the adult club "La Playa Mens Club", located in the municipality of Salamanca, and fired on customers and workers.

The wounded were transferred to hospitals in Salamanca and neighboring areas.

After the attack, the security services of the state of Guanajuato, backed by the army, have deployed an operation to locate the perpetrators.

The State Attorney General of Guanajuato (FGEG) sent forensic experts to the site of the attack to retrieve evidence, they said.
