300 Hondurans every day, about a hundred thousand a year, flee the endemic misery, structural violence and corruption of the political clbad of their country. Remittances sent from abroad are the first element of the Honduran economy.
Every 8 minutes, a Honduran crosses the border illegally. Some do it themselves. Others leave in caravans not to be the target of all sorts of violations and even of the death that haunts them in their dangerous journey to the United States. What is happening in Honduras to become the generator of a migratory exodus of this magnitude?
Angelica Perez was in this small country in Central America to know how and why to be the big banana exporter (89% of the total) Honduras has become in the last decade a big exporter of human beings.
