Ciro Peñalba, the 10-year-old boy killed in Tolosa, was stabbed at least 16 times by his father-in-law. This was established by the result of the medico-legal examinations on the body of the victim of Juan Cruz Chirino, who, before committing suicide, also tried to kill his wife.
The tension in the house at 116th Street, between 529 and 530, lasted for nearly nine hours. Chirino had violated the restriction of approach that weighed on him, blinded by the belief that his partner, Soledad Marcos, was going to abandon him to return to his ex, Ciro's father.
He arrived home at dawn. His wife was hit on the cheekbone and is admitted to San Martín Hospital, even though she is out of danger. With the boy, however, he used a knife. The attack was so wild that Cyrus arrived dead in the hospital.
The neighbors and friends of the couple spoke after a conflictual relationship and fierce fighting. The recurring motif, they said, was the "sickly" jealousy of the man. However, they never imagined an end similar to that of yesterday.
The other cause that had confronted Chirino more than once with his wife was the "difference" that he had made between Ciro and the other children that he had in common with her. According to testimonials, the 10-year-old boy "abused" him because it was not his.
Exactly, Ciro's biological father wanted to save him after receiving Chirino's threats on the phone the same night. On the way, however, he hit the car that was driving against a Volkswagen New Beetle and was interned without being able to avoid the tragedy.
