Horror: seven men raped a teenager, recorded a video and shared it on WhatsApp

The victim was abused by his father-in-law and one of his friends at the age of 14. They asked for money and bad from a family member in exchange for not showing the video anymore.

The scandalous event occurred in Lima Peru. Seven men raped a 19-year-old girl who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and they have been registered. So, they asked for money and bad from a young woman's cousin in exchange for not continuing to stream the video on WhatsApp.

The victim was abused by his father-in-law and one of his friends at the age of 14. Given this, the cousin decided not to blackmail and told the victim's father that complained to La Tinguiña police station, south of Lima.

They denounced the abuses of their father and 17 years later, they revealed a disturbing detail.

Until the moment, police demanded three days' pre-trial detention of five suspects involved and the prosecutor's office hopes to be able to identify the other two soon.

The authorities have tested and badyzed the video on detainees' cell phones. According to the cousin, the victim was badaulted by his father-in-law and one of his friends at the age of 14.

This case has resurfaced the demonstrations that demand the end of violence against women that often remains unpunished in Peru. So far this year, there is at least 39 cases of feminicide in this country.
