Hospital viruses: false cancer nodes in computed tomography, created by malware, deceived radiologists

The research is not theoretical. In a blind study, the researchers performed CT scans with a real CT scan, 70 of which were modified by their malware. They were able to deceive three expert radiologists to diagnose bad conditions almost every time. In the case of explorations with cancerous nodules manufactured, radiologists diagnosed with cancer 99% of the time. In cases where the malware removed the cancerous nodules from the badays, the radiologists reported that these patients were in good health 94% of the time.
