Venezuela is still waiting for humanitarian aid blocked at the Colombian-Venezuelan border. It consists mainly of medicines and health supplies to fight against the precariousness of the country's medical centers.

Dr. Luis Ernesto Jaimes, internist and endocrinologist of the Medicos Unidos organization, explains that this aid will "go first and foremost to children, pregnant women and patients at risk of death, such as dialysis patients and diabetic patients. "

While Nicolás Maduro maintains his rejection of the entrance of this humanitarian aid, Juan Guaidó challenges a distribution on February 23 by means of an operation in which hundreds of thousands of volunteers are already enrolled.

The cast will benefit from the international support of several political leaders such as Chilean President Sebastián Piñera and Colombian Ivan Duque, who confirmed their presence on the Venezuelan border next weekend.
